Cypecore

Cypecore is a German metal group from Sinsheim, active since 2007. The band’s membership includes Nils Lesser, Evan K, Dominic Christoph, Pascal Olejnik and Sebastian Unic.

The group is associated with industrial and metalcore, and is also described as a melodic death metal band. Its sound combines heavy guitar riffs, mechanical double bass patterns, distinctive vocals, electronic elements and cinematic textures.

Cypecore builds its work around a fictional setting in the year 2133, after World War III has almost wiped out humanity. In this concept, large areas of the earth are contaminated by radiation, synthetic body parts are necessary for survival, and high-tech squads fight for resources. The band presents itself as the musical expression of this post-apocalyptic scenario.
