Cub Scouts

Cub Scouts is an Australian pop group from Brisbane, Queensland. It forms in 2010 around singer-songwriter Tim Nelson and initially uses the name Tim Nelson and the Cub Scouts before shortening it in 2011. The group remains active and is associated with queer and indie pop music.

History

The group releases a self-titled EP in 2010. After a line-up change, it drops the “Tim Nelson and the” prefix from its name in 2011. Under the Cub Scouts name, it issues the single “Evie” in 2011 and “Do You Hear” in 2012. Its second EP, Told You So, follows in 2012.

Name change and members

In August 2013, the band changes its name to Cub Sport. Its members are Bek Stoodley, Zoe Davis, Andrew Williams, Tim Nelson, Sam Netterfield and Dan Puusaari.
