CRS

CRS is a French rap artist known as Chris Sanchez. His work combines rap, singing, soul and worship, with a focus on faith-based material and a positive message. He is associated with PHF Productions and is presented as the label’s debut artist.

Recording work

His debut album is No Holding Back. It includes guest appearances from Enock, AZA, Bless’t and Chosen. The record brings together different styles within his sound, including tracks such as “save a thug,” “stormz” and “all i want is more of You”.

Before that album, he appears on several compilations. In 2002 he features on Dale Eugene Records’ New Voices with “Lord Forgive Me” by BLESS't, AZA and CRS. In 2003 he appears on Much Luvv Records’ Slow Lane Chronicles, chopped and screwed by Paul Wall, with “stormz” featuring BLESS’t.

Background and ministry

CRS is also a worship leader and youth worker at Victory Outreach Houston, under Pastor Ernie Lopez. In 2001 he studies at the Victory Outreach “Urban Training Center” in Bridgeport, Connecticut, where he receives Bible study, personal development and hands-on ministry training.

The name CRS also refers to a collaboration between Lupe Fiasco, Kanye West and Pharrell Williams, but this CRS is the French rap artist Chris Sanchez.
