Critical Point

Critical Point is a vegetarian straight edge hardcore band from Faro, Portugal. The line-up includes members and former members of Time X, Pointing Finger, Broken Distance, Pressure and Together. The band works in the hardcore punk and youth crew tradition, with straight edge and vegetarian themes central to its identity.

Releases and activity

In 2009, Critical Point releases a 7-inch on Salad Days Records and tours for the first time that same year, supporting the Broken Distance Farewell European Tour. In 2011, the band records six new songs for another 7-inch, Trial & Error, which appears on Commitment Records in the Netherlands.

Tours and split

Critical Point also tours Europe with Pressure during Easter in 2011. The band splits up in 2012.
