Cringe

Cringe is an American group associated with alternative rock, industrial rock and nu metal, and is also described as a heavy rock act. The name is used by more than one band, but this entry refers to the group from the United States.

One version of Cringe is based in Columbus, Ohio. It is described as using pounding rhythms, fairy-tale melodies and sincere vocals to create a distinctive form of heavy music. This group has a second full-length album called Animation.

Other acts also use the name Cringe, including a hardcore band from Baltimore, an old school death metal band, and a blackened hardcore band from Ashtabula, Ohio.
