Cress

Cress is an anarcho-punk band from Wigan, United Kingdom, with roots in Lowton and Leigh. The group works in the anarcho-punk and punk styles, and its line-up includes Pete Cress on guitar and vocals, Nev on lead guitar, Anarchy Joe on vocals and sampler, Dave on bass, HAL2000 on drums, and ChrisKPA on projections.

The band’s recorded output includes Monuments (1997), a split release with Doom from 1998, the 7-inch From Violence to Consumerism from 1999, and the CD Propaganda and Lies from 1999.
