Creep

Creep is the name used by more than one act. One is an electronic duo from Brooklyn, New York, formed by DJ Lauren Flax and Lauren Dillard. Flax is a veteran house DJ and also serves as Fischerspooner’s tour DJ. The pair draw on classic house, old freestyle, the UK bass scene and house music, while also working with a dreamy pop sensibility. They are described as a new project and are still developing tracks.

The duo works with guest vocalists and has included Romy Madley Croft of the xx, Nina Sky, Holly Miranda and others. The act is associated with electronic music, and is also tagged with witch house, trip-hop, experimental and darkwave.

Another Creep is a multi-instrumentalist and sound engineer from Ohio, known for a history of very personal limited releases. This project issues material such as Botch.

A further use of the name appears in New York hardcore punk, and another refers to a pre-Korn lineup featuring Head, David, Fieldy and Munky with a different singer before Jonathan Davis joins the band.

Creep also appears as a featured artist on the track I Can Feel The Hate.
