Crease
Crease is an alternative rock and hard rock group from the United States. The band gains early attention when Florida rock station WZTA 94.9 ZETA plays its song “Frustration” heavily; the track becomes the station’s most requested song for several weeks and stays in rotation for a full year. That support helps Crease sign to Roadrunner Records.
Recording career
Crease releases its debut album Vindication on Roadrunner. After that, the band returns to the studio with engineer, mixer and producer Charles Dye, whose credits include work with Aerosmith, Jon Bon Jovi, Sammy Hagar, Lauryn Hill and Ricky Martin. The collaboration leads to the band’s second full-length album, Only Human, which contains 12 rock tracks.
Other material
The available information also refers to another act named Crease, described as a four-piece grindcore band from Medicine Hat, Alberta, Canada. That group is associated with an interview on the podcast No One Likes Your Band, a split release with Anal Sausages, and an official Bandcamp page where tracks are available for download.
