Cowtown is a Leeds group consisting of Hilary Knott, Jonathan Nash and David Shields. Their music is associated with indie pop, new wave, post-punk, punk and rock, and is described in terms of a fizzy, electric sound with a skewed feel and bright, primary-coloured energy. The group is linked with alternative and indie rock scenes in England.
