Counterblast

Counterblast are a Swedish group from Jönköping, active since 1993. Their sound combines crust punk, death metal, doom metal, industrial metal and stenchcore, and they are also described as a Swedish doom/death metal act. They are known for mixing crust, industrial, thrash metal and death metal with keyboards and samples, creating a style that draws comparisons with Amebix, Neurosis and Dystopia while remaining distinct from those bands.
