Cornerstone

Cornerstone is a Danish hard rock and progressive metal group active from 1999. It is led by Scottish singer Doogie White, who previously sings with Rainbow and Yngwie Malmsteen, and Danish bassist Steen Mogensen, who previously plays in Royal Hunt. The line-up also includes guitarist Kasper Damgaard and keyboard player Rune Brink alongside Allan Sørensen on drums. The group’s style sits between hard rock, melodic metal and melodic rock, with a strong progressive metal element in its later classification.

Albums and recordings

The band releases its first album in 2000 and goes on to issue four studio albums and one live album. Its latest album, Two Tales Of One Tomorrow, appears in February 2007 on Massacre Records. The recording history establishes Cornerstone as a long-running studio project as well as a live act.
