Core of Io

Core of Io is a four-piece progressive metal band from East Sussex and West Sussex in the south of England. Formed in 2013 and still active, the group combines progressive rock, metal and other styles in its sound.

The band issues material in the form of a free promo CD and download containing two tracks, and follows a year of writing and rehearsing with a set prepared for live performance.
