The Rochester Contempt are a 1990s hardcore band from New York state. They are a vegan straight-edge group linked with the hardline movement. In 1997 they release One Justice, first on March Through Records and later on xCatalystx Records.

United Kingdom

The UK Contempt are a punk rock band from Wolverhampton, active since 1984. They form from members of three local bands: Vendetta, Seventh Plague and Pulex Irritans. The band tours widely across Europe.

Chicago

A third Contempt is a straight-edge band from Chicago. It releases its first demo in 2023.
