Conquering Animal Sound
Conquering Animal Sound is a UK electronic and indie pop group that begins in Glasgow in 2008. The act centres on Anneke Kampman, with James also part of the duo, and it works with loops, vocals and guitars to make layered electronic and indie-pop soundscapes.
Releases
The group releases a cassette mixtape titled Your Friends, Conquering Animal Sound in 2009. Its debut single, Giant, appears in 2010 on Gerry Loves Records as a split 7-inch vinyl release with Debutant. The debut album, Kammerspiel, is issued on Gizeh and mini50 Records.
Style
The music combines electronica, indietronica and indie pop, with an emphasis on flowing textures and abstract electronic noise.
