Command Strange

Command Strange is a drum and bass producer from Kazakhstan, associated especially with liquid funk. He begins making music after getting acquainted with jungle at the age of seven, and by the time he is 16 he releases his first tunes on Liquid Brilliants Records.

Further releases follow on Fokuz, Influenza Media, Allsorts and Digital Colours. His melodic productions draw on soul, jazz and funk samples and gain support from DJs and producers including LTJ Bukem, Fabio & Grooverider, Twisted Individual, Marky, Bailey, Big Bud, Mutated Forms, Ez Rollers and Crissy Criss.

After singles on Have-A-Break and Fokuz in early 2010, he receives an album deal from Fokuz. His debut LP, Soul Booster, is released in November 2010 and is described by Kmag as featuring very lush beats. He also has further releases planned for Celsius, Hospital, Allsorts and Nu Directions, along with another album for Fokuz.
