Colourmasks

Colourmasks is a project that emerges in 2010 and works with a wide range of instruments and experimental approaches. Its sound combines melody with hypnotic and euphoric passages, and also moves into harsher, emotionally demanding textures. The music sits across freak folk, experimental, psychedelic folk, indie and progressive styles, with organic sounds mixed with noise, psychedelia and glitch-based elements.

The project is also associated with live performances that use lighting and abstract visual material. Colourmasks collaborates with other acts, including Multicoloured Green, Le Plat Du Jour, Orphans & Vandals, Lora Kirk, The Ornament Birds and The Hall Of Mirrors.
