Colman Brothers

Colman Brothers are a UK acid jazz group made up of Mat on trombone and Andrew on trumpet and flugelhorn. The pair work together on music for film, television and other projects, and their collaboration extends over more than seven years. They perform and record in jazz, pop, funk and soul contexts across Europe.

The duo are associated with tracks including “El Niño”, “She Who Dares” and “Sem Amor”. “El Niño” features in the award-winning short film Bigboy_74. They also work on further material for an album release.

Outside the group, Mat appears with The Herbaliser and records on the group’s album. Andrew also leads a quartet and releases material on 33jazz Records, including I Remember You.
