Collision

Collision is a Dutch grindcore group from the Netherlands. It is an aggressive grindcore band with metal and hardcore influences, also associated with thrashcore. The band is founded by singers Björn and Tammi in 2000.

Releases

After a demo titled Miserable, squashed, dead, Collision records its first full-length album, Romantic display of love, which is released in 2003 on Bizarre Leprous Production. In 2005, bass player Marcel is replaced by Boris, who also plays bass in Mangled. The band then records Roadkiller at the end of 2005; it is released in June 2006 on Bones Brigade Records and contains 14 songs.

Live activity

Collision plays live shows described as fast, energetic and aggressive, and appears with acts including Pungent Stench, Saxon, Gorerotted, Agathocles, Sanitys Dawn, Inhume, After Forever, Suppository, Mangled, Gojira, Aborted and Sinister. It also performs at Obscene Extreme and Fit Of Rage in the Czech Republic, and at Weistock and Rockweekend in the Netherlands.
