Coffee Breath
Coffee Breath are a Birmingham emo and midwest emo group active since 2015. The band forms at the University of Birmingham, where Sam Tidmarsh (vocals), Matt Reynolds (guitar), Ryan McCorkell (guitar), Max Hadfield (bass) and Cem Ozer (drums) meet while studying and form the group after bonding over a shared interest in emo revival, math rock and coffee.
Their music draws on bands including TTNG, Nai Harvest and Tubelord. It combines detailed guitar parts, prominent drumming and introspective vocals, with an emotional edge.
