Cocoa Tea

Cocoa Tea is a Jamaican reggae, ragga and dancehall artist from Rocky Point, Jamaica. He is born Calvin George Scott and works as a singer, singjay and songwriter. He dies in 2025.

Career

He emerges from the dancehall expansion in Jamaica in the early 1980s and becomes popular in Jamaica from 1985. From the 1990s, he also finds wider international success. His voice is described as honeyed, with a sense of vitality and clarity.

He records with many of Jamaica's leading producers. His output includes the songs
