City Of Thieves is a hard rock group from London. The band is active from 2015 and previously performs under the name Four Wheel Drive before changing to its current name in 2015.

Background

The project forms in the summer of 2009, when Jason Crockett visits the studio of Chris Hook to record a Gram Parsons song. After the recording, Hook plays a new track called “Truth Has Eyes”, and Crockett agrees to sing the lyrics. From there, the two begin working closely together in the studio and the group takes shape. Crockett is described as a singer with smoky, soulful vocals, while Hook is associated with arranging, composing and producing, with a strong focus on studio work as well as guitar and piano. The act is based in London and is identified as a UK rock band.
