Citadels

Citadels are an East London cinematic-pop group that starts as a trio in 2006 before becoming a four-piece. The band features multi-instrumentalists Bramble, Jimmy Lazers, Ally and Bear Wales, and its broad, layered sound draws comparisons with Arcade Fire, The Flaming Lips, MGMT and The Unicorns.

The group’s debut single, Golden Islands, brings them critical attention. They later release The Chemical Song through Pure Groove. The band splits up in August 2011, after which Jimmy Lazers takes on guitar duties for Drugstore.
