Chris Slade is a rock drummer from Pontypridd, United Kingdom, born in 1946. He plays in or has played in Manfred Mann’s Earth Band, Uriah Heep, AC/DC, Asia, Michael Schenker Group, The Firm, Chris Slade Steel Circle, Terra Nova, The Chris Slade Timeline and MIWA. He is also associated with the supergroup The Firm, which includes Jimmy Page and Paul Rodgers.
He leads his own band, Chris Slade Steel Circle, and the abbreviated name CS/SC is used for his own group.
