Chezile, born Alejandro Sanchez, is an American singer-songwriter and producer from Albuquerque. He is associated with bedroom pop, dream pop, chillout, alt-pop and indie, and his music combines jazz, soul and indie influences into a reflective, atmospheric sound.

He comes from Albuquerque, New Mexico, and is described as an Albuquerque bedroom pop artist. Born in 2000, he works as a solo artist under the name Chezile.

He gains wider recognition in 2024 with the single “Beanie,” which reaches the top of Spotify charts worldwide. After that, he releases his debut project, 47, a personal recording that reflects a difficult period in which he moves from Albuquerque to Los Angeles and lives in his car, in motels and in Airbnbs.

The project is recorded wherever he can, and it captures the unsettled circumstances of that time through a raw and direct approach.
