Chevy Metal is a Los Angeles-based cover band founded by Taylor Hawkins and active since 2012. The group focuses on 1970s dirt rock material and plays deep cuts from albums by Black Sabbath, Van Halen, Queen and The Rolling Stones, among other artists.

The band’s line-up includes Mick Murphy, Taylor Hawkins, Wiley Hodgden, Brent Woods, Shane Hawkins and Dave Grohl.
