Cheap Jazz is a four-piece band from the Midlands in the UK, associated with rock, math rock and post-rock. The group performs under a playful image and is noted for playing gigs in various costumes.

Background

The band is formerly known as FUNfun. It is made up of two former members of Younogodie and two former members of Plans and Apologies, and it is based in Derby, in the Midlands.

Line-up

The group consists of Chris on guitar, vocals and harmonica; Nav on bass, various percussion and vocals; Jamie on drums, guitar and vocals; and Dan on guitar, drums and vocals.

Releases and online presence

Cheap Jazz releases EPs for free and also has an album titled The Shape of Fun to Come. The band also appears through Bandcamp, Facebook, YouTube and Myspace, and uses the contact address Cheapjazz@gmail.com for booking and other enquiries.
