Chase Icon

Chase Icon is a California-based American pop and electronic artist from the bubblegum dance, dance-pop and electropop sphere. She works as an independent artist through her own label, Fame Hooker Records, and is active as a solo performer.

Early work and online start

She first builds an audience on Twitter by posting comedic narrations over videos, including a clip of Kylie Jenner’s house tour. That early online attention leads to her first official streaming single, SRS, whose title refers to sexual reassignment surgery. She describes the track as turning bottom dysmorphia into a playful pop song.

Breakthrough and collaborations

SRS brings her attention within the hyperpop community and leads to performance opportunities with artists including Slayyyter, That Kid and Alice Longyu Gao. Her follow-up track, I’m Perfect, also gains popularity and remains one of her best-known songs. She later collaborates with BABYNYMPH on NEMESIS.

EPs and singles

Chase Icon’s debut EP is Domination, led by the single Life Alert. The title track from the EP becomes a notable release for her. She then enters a new phase with 808, followed by Shoes, which she does not release on streaming platforms. She continues with Like Me, Call Your Mom, and ZIP, a collaboration with Rakky Ripper.

In 2022 she releases Nancy, then puts out Chase Radio on SoundCloud and YouTube. She announces the EP The Girlfriend Experience with the track Bang (My Body), and later releases the EP, with that song becoming one of her most popular recordings.
