Channel Tres is a producer, DJ, musician and artist from Compton, United States. Born in 1991, he works across alternative R&B, club, dance, deep house, disco and EDM, and is also associated with hip house, house, electronic, hip-hop and West Coast hip hop.

Early musical development

He becomes interested in music and production at the age of nine after hearing The Love Below. As a teenager, he plays drums and directs the church choir.

Education and approach

He later attends university in Oklahoma, where he studies music technology, composition and theory. That training broadens his understanding of music and shapes his work as a producer and artist. He is associated with the label Art for Their Good.
