Celt

Celt is a Welsh-language band from Bethesda, Wales. The group has a fluid line-up and has included Martin Beattie, Siôn Jones, Siôn Bayley, Steven Bolton, Alwyn Jones, Barry Jones and Huw Smith.

The band is active as a live act and has released music over a long period, with its first album, Da 'Dir Hogia, appearing 35 years before Newydd. Its previous album, Cash is King, comes 15 years before Newydd.

Among the musicians associated with the group are Martin Beattie, who is also known for Machlud, and Siôn Jones, who also plays with Maffia Mr Huws and Anhrefn.
