Celeste

Celeste is a French metal band from Lyon, active since 2005. The group plays black metal and post-hardcore, and is also tagged with sludge and screamo. It is known for combining elements of black metal and post-hardcore within a heavier French metal sound.

Line-up

The band features Johan Girardeau on vocals and bass, Guillaume Rieth on guitar, Sébastion Ducotté on guitar, and Antoine Royer on drums. Antoine Kerbrat is a former bass player, and the band includes former members of Mihai Edrisch.

Celeste’s recorded output begins with the EP Pessimiste(s), followed by the albums Nihiliste(s), Misanthrope(s), Morte(s) Née(s), Animale(s), Infidèle(s), and Assassine(s).
