Ceitidh Mac is a Newcastle upon Tyne-based singer and songwriter working in alt folk and pop folk. She combines cello-led arrangements with mellow vocals, and her songs bring together folk influence, lo-fi studio textures and a contemporary electronic edge.

Her music uses unusual instrumentation alongside synth hooks, rhythmic riffs and cello melodies. She writes original material that moves between everyday observations and more reflective themes, and she also performs reinterpretations of traditional and alternative folk songs.
