CDC

CDC is a beatdown hardcore band from Lansdale, Pennsylvania, and is active from 2003 to the present. The group emerges in September 2003 from Lansdale, Doylestown and Perkasie, initially as an in-studio project before the original members decide to take it further as a live band. With a newly recorded demo and an immediate response around the group, CDC begins playing shows across the east coast.

Releases

In 2004, CDC records four tracks for a split release, but the material is later reworked. Those four songs are eventually combined with two unreleased tracks and a demo track and issued in 2006 on Ghosttown Records as the EP Defy the Odds. In 2008, Ghosttown Records re-releases the EP in a remixed and remastered version with new vocals and a new layout. The four tracks also appear on a split with By My Hands from Glasgow, Scotland, titled Kontinental Kings, released on Zone 6 Records.

In 2009, CDC releases the five-track EP Burn on Filled With Hate Records.

Touring and activity

CDC tours extensively in the United States and Europe, and also plays in Israel and South Africa. From 2010 onwards, the band becomes less active, appearing for occasional shows and scattered tours, while continuing to write new material.
