Cazzette

Cazzette is a Swedish house duo from Stockholm, made up of Alexander Björklund and Sebastian Furrer. The project starts in 2011 and works across club, dance, deep house, EDM, electro house and electronic music, with an early focus on progressive house. In 2023 and 2024, its production shifts towards a more jungle and drum and bass-oriented sound.

Career and releases

Shortly after launching, Cazzette issues a remix of Avicii’s “Sweet Dreams” under the title “Sweet Dreams (CAZZETTE meet AT NIGHT Mix)” on JOIA Records. The track stays in the Beatport Top 100 General chart for six weeks and reaches the Top 20. The duo also releases an unofficial version of Swedish House Mafia’s “Save the World” that is later accepted as an official remix, and a bootleg of Adele’s “Set Fire to the Rain” that reaches number one on Hype Machine’s most popular list after appearing on their SoundCloud page.

Notable tracks

Cazzette is best known for “Beam Me Up”, which appears on the debut album Eject in 2014, and “Sleepless”, which also comes out in 2014 and charts in Sweden.

Line-up and live work

Although the project begins with Sebastian Furrer and manager Arash Pournori involved alongside Björklund, the act is credited as a duo in its established form. In 2016, Furrer says he stops touring with the act and concentrates on production, saying that live performance affects his creative process.
