Caylee Hammack
Caylee Hammack is a country and americana singer and songwriter from Ellaville, United States. She is associated with Capitol Records Nashville and works across country, country pop, folk rock, and southern rock.
Early life and career beginnings
Hammack is born in 1994. She spends more than a decade building her career through regular performances in smoky bars, opry houses, and music festivals across the United States. At 19, she moves to Nashville and supports herself by writing songs in the morning and singing on Broadway at night.
Songwriting and industry recognition
After three years in Nashville, she is accepted into ASCAP’s GPS Program. She then signs her first major publishing deal with Universal Music Publishing Group and wins the ASCAP Sammy Cahn Lyricist Award, joining previous winners including Lori McKenna and John Mayer.
Other work
Hammack also has songs placed in RAM truck advertisements and in films and television, including the CMT series Nashville. She is also co-producing her own project with her team.
