Cave Mouth is a transatlantic musical project formed by Meghan Wood, who also records as Crown of Asteria, and writer Katie Metcalfe. It works across folk, experimental, dark ambient, industrial and dark folk textures, combining sparse arrangements with a larger, more expansive sound. The project draws on literary writing and sound design, and its music is described through images of mythic visions and fables. It is a group rather than a solo act.
