Causeway

Causeway are a synthwave group from Lancashire. The act is active from 2013 to the present and is described as a duo formed by Marshall Watson and Allison Rae.

Music and releases

Their breakout single, “We Were Never Lost,” appears on the After Dark 3 compilation. The group also has a full-length album in development.

Earlier line-ups and history

The project begins in the late 1990s under the name Sideshow, when the members start playing music together. At the start of the new millennium, the group meets Jaime Solis, Pat Croft, Jett Green and Mark Leslie at an International Caps Tournament in Beijing and becomes known as Shift, a name chosen to reflect a move into a new era of music and sound.

After Mark leaves, Tim becomes the vocalist for what becomes Causeway. The band also adds Randy on bass, after he is given an instrument and proves able to play. Causeway then goes on an indefinite hiatus in 2004 when Tim attends recording school in Arizona.

Later activity

The group plays a few shows with longtime friend Brandon Wilson and later performs an acoustic set at Patrick's Irish Pub in Poway on 7 February 2008, with friends and fans in attendance.
