Casket Feeder
Casket Feeder are a United Kingdom death metal and hardcore group, also associated with deathcore. Formed in late 2016, the band combines Swedish death metal’s abrasive sound with the heavier groove of UK hardcore. They build a reputation for a forceful live set and a DIY approach, handling their own recordings and releases early on.
Releases and recording
The band self-release and self-record their debut EP, Venomous Tongues. They follow it with Scalps, recorded by James Burke of The Infernal Sea and mixed and mastered by Samuel Turbitt of Ritual Studios. Scalps is released through Hibernacula Records.
Live activity and associations
Casket Feeder tour and play across the UK with bands including Venom Prison, Conjurer, Heart of a Coward, Ingested and Leeched. Their work focuses on themes of political corruption, social division and wider injustice, and they are positioned within the UK underground scene.
