Cartridge
Cartridge is a Danish indie pop-rock band from Denmark, active since 2002. The group also works with indie and electro elements, and its sound is described as a Scandinavian electro and afrobeat blend with African and Caribbean influences in a rock setting.
Releases and reception
The band releases the album Fractures in Denmark in early 2008. It draws attention beyond Scandinavia in 2009. Their single The Woods receives airplay from British DJ Zane Lowe on BBC Radio 1, and Annie Mac features it in her “New Music” segment on the BBC2 programme SOUND.
Media attention
Cartridge is featured in the “Radar” section of NME, named song of the day on the UK blog Popjustice, and reviewed positively by The Guardian.
