Carlota, also known as Carlota Diaz, is a musician from Valencia, born in 2000. The project is tagged with leftfield, techno, indie, pop and synthwave.

Carlota also shares a name with a Brazilian alternative band from Minas Gerais that combines acoustic guitar and cajón-based rhythms with keyboard and synth elements. That group includes Jorge Carvalho on vocals and guitars, Gustavo Leal on keyboards and guitars, Rômulo Ramos on percussion and guitars, and Leandro Duarte on keyboards.
