Carlos Núñez is a Galician musician from Vigo, Galicia, known for playing the gaita, or bagpipe. He starts playing at the age of eight and develops a reputation for virtuosity on the instrument.

He tours and performs with The Chieftains for many years and becomes known as the group’s honorary “7th Chieftain”. He is also described as one of the leading bagpipe players in the world.
