Carl Donnelly

Carl Donnelly is a British stand-up comedian who starts performing regularly in 2005. He develops a conversational style and a silly sense of humour, and becomes a regular act and MC at clubs across the UK as well as in France, Germany, Singapore, the Netherlands, Oman, Dubai and Ireland.

Awards and recognition

He wins the Best Newcomer prize at the 2007 Chortle Awards and Leicester Mercury Comedian of the Year in 2007. He also wins Laughing Horse New Act of the Year in 2006 and Reading Comedy Festival New Act of the Year in 2005. In 2009, he receives nominations for Best Newcomer at the Edinburgh Comedy Awards and Best Breakthrough Act at the Chortle Awards.
