Capture The Flag is a punk-rock group from Flat Rock, Michigan, active from 1998 to 2004. The band forms from three musicians who previously play in various ska bands together: Jeff Tuttle, Steve Kay and Ryan King.
History
The group develops from earlier local ska projects before the members move towards a harsher blend of punk and metal. Their sound draws on the fast, melodic approach of the Descendents alongside metal-influenced guitar work associated with bands such as Van Halen. They share stages with The Suicide Machines, Alkaline Trio, Saves The Day and Mustard Plug, and they also perform for audiences in Downriver, Michigan.
