Cape Fear is a London-based rock band made up of Paul James Visser on vocals and guitar, Billy Freedom on drums, Miki Yasaka on lead guitar and Dave Ferguson on bass and backing vocals. The group has members from the UK, the United States, Japan and New Zealand, and presents itself as an international act with a focus on hook-led rock songs.

The band has worked with producer Greg Haver, who has also worked with Manic Street Preachers and Lostprophets, on earlier projects. It is also described as being in the studio recording new material for later release, and as having national club and university tours planned, alongside hometown sell-outs and international dates.

Cape Fear builds its profile through live performance, with a busy stage show, strong melodies and anthemic songs forming the basis of its sound. The group has played alongside acts including The Foo Fighters, Incubus, Nine Inch Nails and Marilyn Manson.
