Capac

Capac is an ambient project from Liverpool, UK, formed in 2008. The group develops from an earlier lineup that begins with Stu Cook and Gary Salomon, with Josh Davenport as a former member. It later settles into a four-piece formation with Gary Salomon on guitar and keys, Kate Smith on vocals and keys, Matt Parker on bass, and Stu Cook on electronics.

Releases

The project’s debut EP, Pastels, is released in 2010 through On The Shelf. After a hiatus and a change in personnel, Capac returns in 2014 with the EP Nested, together with the remix EP The Other Branch. These releases appear self-issued through Bandcamp and Bit Torrent Bundle. A debut full-length album, Sea Freeze, is planned for release on the This is it Forever Imprint.
