Caoilfhionn Rose is a singer, songwriter and producer from Manchester. Her name is pronounced “Keelin”. Her work sits across folk, folk rock, pop, psychedelic rock, rock and singer-songwriter territory, with related associations including dream pop and indie pop.

Early work and collaboration

She first becomes widely noted through her work with Vini Reilly, contributing to four songs on The Durutti Column – Chronicle LX:XL. This collaboration establishes her as an artist working in both performance and production.

Albums

Her debut album, Awaken, appears on Gondwana Records in 2018 and is preceded by a title-track single. The record is described as a collaborative project, co-produced by Matthew Halsall, Caoilfhionn Rose and members of the band, and it brings together folk, psychedelia and subtle electronica in an expansive, fragile and experimental sound.

Her second album, Truly, is released in 2021.
