Canshaker Pi
Canshaker Pi is a Dutch indie rock band from Amsterdam, Netherlands. It plays indie and slacker rock, and its music is compared with American indie and garage bands such as Pavement and Dinosaur Jr.
Line-up and related projects
The group includes Leon Harms, Cees Paris, Willem Smit, Ruben van Weegberg, Nick Bolland and Boris de Klerk. Ruben van Weegberg and Willem Smit are also members of Palio SuperSpeed Donkey, and Canshaker Pi is described as a spin-off from that group.
Recordings
The band’s first vinyl-only 7-inch single appears on Tim Knol’s Tender Records in October 2015. It follows with the EP Boomslang in February 2016.
