Cans

Cans is the heavy metal and power metal side project of Joacim Cans, the singer of HammerFall. It presents a heavier sound and darker subject matter than HammerFall’s music.

The project tours in Europe and is associated with plans for a second album, with Joacim Cans saying after HammerFall’s Threshold era that he has ideas for another record. Since then, he releases a second solo album under his own name in 2013, in Swedish and with a pop and Swedish folk approach, rather than continuing to develop the side project publicly.

Another act with the same name is a Romanian IDM producer involved in AV // Satellites, and there is also an Austrian punk rock band from Linz that is active from 2013 to 2016. A separate incorrect redirect also links a British band called Gans to this page.
