Canaan Cox is an American country singer from North Carolina and Nashville. He builds his music around honest lyrics and a country sound rooted in his North Carolina background.

Early releases

In 2017, Cox releases his debut single, “Lie”. The track is recorded in Nashville with producer Matt McClure, whose credits include work with Lee Brice, Dylan Scott and Kellie Pickler. After its release, the song appears on iTunes’ “Country Hot Tracks” and enters the top 80 on the charts within its first month.

Earlier in 2017, Cox also releases a music video for “Just Me”. The song is planned for inclusion on his self-titled EP. “Just Me” appears on several country music platforms and helps lead into the later video for “Lie”.

Performances and activity

Cox tours around the south-east and also performs with Carnival Cruise Lines. He is described as an emerging country artist with growing attention around his early releases.
