Cambion

Cambion are a metal group from El Paso, Texas, United States, formed in late 2009. Their sound draws on death metal, metalcore, melodic death metal, blackened death metal and technical death metal, and they describe it as an individual style built around influences including Meshuggah, Fear Factory and Divine Heresy.

Career

The band tours internationally and in October 2010 supports Fozzy, the rock group fronted by Chris Jericho. In March 2011 they return to Wizzfest in Belgium, where they play alongside Blaze Bayley. They also share stages with Blaze Bayley, Fury UK, Malefice, Illuminatus, Symphony Cult and Idiom.

Recordings

Cambion release their second EP, City of Ember, through Bored Stiff Records. They later prepare an EP titled Last Rites, which features Chason Westmoreland alongside newer members Colin Beale on bass and Liam Neary on rhythm guitar, and includes the track “Death March”.
