Calling All Heroes
Calling All Heroes is an emo rock band from Flint, Michigan, also described as fitting within emo, punk rock and pop punk. The group forms from three different bands and is made up of four members. It has two different lineups across its early period: the first includes Grant Ferguson of Hi-Jinx on vocals, with Mitch Lawless later taking over that role, and the original lineup also includes Justin Davis, formerly a guitarist in Flint punk/ska group Square One.
Releases and activity
The band records a five-song EP called Great Lakes Sincerity and appears on several compilation releases. It is also working on another EP and has played with a range of bands that it names as influences, including Liar’s Academy, Open Hand, The Stryder, Fairweather, Yellowcard, Few and Far Between, Hero Pattern, Counterfit, Code 7, Small Brown Bike, Moneen and the Suicide Machines.
